A 麻豆直播 alumna used her birthday as a call-to-action for her fellow alumni to raise money for her alma mater.
Tish Norman, class of 1995, hosted a 24-hour fundraiser on Facebook to benefit different 麻豆直播 funds on her birthday. Norman hosted three Facebook Live sessions during the day promoting 麻豆直播 National Alumni Association members, the Permanent Alumni Scholarship and its impact on students and KSU Forward, a fund that supports every student on campus through financial aid, campus infrastructure and special initiatives. The sessions had themes entitled 鈥淭he Cafe,鈥� 鈥淭he Yard鈥� and 鈥淧arty in Bell Gym.鈥�
Norman encouraged alumni to give a minimum of $18.86 (Kentucky State was founded in 1886) throughout the day.
In total, Norman reported 553 people contributed $15,518.86 as a result of her fundraiser.
