FRANKFORT — Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ (KSU) has announced its plan to realign the University’s cabinet for operational effectiveness and growth. KSU President M. Christopher Brown II, Ph.D., has extended offers to fill the executive positions:

Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration: Kevin Appleton, MBA, CPA. Currently, Appleton is the vice president for Administrative Affairs at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.

Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs: Debbie G. Thomas, Ph.D. Dr. Thomas is the dean of Academic Affairs at Capital Community College in Connecticut.

Vice President for Student Engagement and Campus Life: Thomas J. Calhoun, Jr., Ph.D. Most recently, Dr. Calhoun was the president of Chicago State University.

Vice President for Enrollment Management and Brand Identity: Clara Ross Stamps, MBA. Stamps is the vice president for Marketing and Communication at Alcorn State University.

Interim Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Alumni Relations: Rick W. Smith, Sr., MBA. Smith is the interim vice president for External Relations and Development at Âé¶¹Ö±²¥.

All permanent hires are expected to report no later than July 5.
