The Lexington Ballet Company performed to enthusiastic crowd Friday evening at Bradford Hall at Ā鶹ֱ²„.

As part of its arts and cultural season series, the Frankfort Arts Foundation and Ā鶹ֱ²„ presented ā€œRhapsody in Blueā€ and ā€œThe Koln Concertā€ performed by the Lexington Ballet Company. The movements by the dancers in this ballet evoke ā€œsadness, growth, love and feeling of acceptance within the society.ā€ The ballet vividly portrayed the human condition that although people play different parts in life, people are similar to each other.frankfort art foundation 016 send

ā€œI love mixed–bill performances because you are able to touch on many different emotions and themes in the course of one evening,ā€ said Lexington Ballet’s artistic director Luis Dominquez. ā€œBallet is a beautiful monster. It requires the right costume designers, set designers, choreographer, choreography and dancers. But it is worth it because it lets us strive for conspiracy and beauty.ā€

KSU academic technology trainer Jennifer Miles, who is also board member of the Frankfort Arts Foundation, enjoyed ā€œseeing such artistry and passion through such a beautiful method.ā€

ā€œBallet is not easy and Lexington ballet does a wonderful job with it,ā€ she added.
